How To: Register for Classes

Add One Class
The quick version for those that have done this before and have some experience with the updated InsideBC.
Directions
- Log in to InsideBC.
- Click MyBanWeb menu dropdown at the top, next to your name.
- Select Add or Drop Classes.
- Select the Term
If the correct term is not in the field, click the dropdown arrow to the right to select the term. - Click the continue button
- Either search for the subject and/or course number in the first tab
OR
Enter the CRN, if you have it, in the second tab. - Click Search
OR
*Recommended* click Advanced Search to narrow results by days, times, etc. - Tips for Advanced Search
- Use caution when using campus as it may limit your search results more than you wish.
- Choose Bakersfield in the College
- Select "Open Sections Only"
- Drag columns to widen so that you can see all of the information in the columns for locations and start and end dates.
- Once you have found a class you want to add, scroll to the right and click the add button.
- DON'T STOP READING, IT ISN'T ADDED YET. The class will show in your schedule in the bottom left of the screen in gray and white. In the summary, it will say "pending" with "web registered" under actions.
- Click the Submit Button
- If it was successful, the background of the class on the schedule will turn to a solid green with a check mark and the status in the Summary will say "Registered".
Adding Multiple Classes
How to register for multiple classes with the updated version of MyBanWeb in InsideBC.
Directions
- Log in to InsideBC.
- Click MyBanWeb menu dropdown at the top, next to your name.
- Select Add or Drop Classes.
- Select the Term

OR

- In the top right corner, click the "Search Again" button.
- Repeat steps 6-14 until all of your classes have been added.
