#Californians ForAll College Corps

#CaliforniansForAll College Corps is a paid service and career development program
at colleges and universities across the state. College Corps helps students graduate
with less debt while making a difference in the community over an academic year.
What Service Looks Like
Opportunities vary by campus, but generally include:
- K-12 education: tutoring and mentoring students, supporting afterschool programs.
- Environment: removing invasive species, planting trees and native plants, composting organic food waste.
- Food security: supporting community gardens and food banks, connecting families with services.

Who Can Serve
To be eligible for College Corps, you must:
- Be a full-time, enrolled undergraduate student at a participating campus.
- Be a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident or AB 540 CA Dream Act eligible student.
- Commit to the program for the full academic year.
- Demonstrate financial need or have to work to pay for school.

Community Host Partner
Community Host Partner Guidelines
Community Host Partners play an important role in mentoring Fellows, ensuring that they are doing meaningful work and gaining practical job skills. Fellows will work with K-12 schools, food banks, or climate action organizations to build healthier communities across Kern County and California.
Community Corps Community Host Partners Requirements:
- Have adequate resources to support at least two (2) fellows for one full academic year, including a site supervisor.
- Work with Partner Campus and Fellows to develop a predictable schedule at the start of each semester.
- Provide Fellows with enough service opportunities for them to complete 10-15 service hours per week and a total of 450-hours prior to the program end date of May 31, 2026.
- Approve timesheets through America Learns in a timely manner.
- Provide feedback to Fellows on performance.
