BC’s Business Administration program will introduce you to the world of business and give you a foundation in accounting, finance, and economics to build upon after transferring to a 4-year institution in pursuit of a bachelor’s degree. What is Business Administration?
Business administration is the study of managing and directing business operations to achieve specific goals and objectives. It covers various areas of management such as finance, marketing, human resources, operations, and strategy. Business administration programs typically include courses in economics, accounting, management, business law, and other related areas. The goal of business administration education is to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills in individuals, as well as a comprehensive understanding of how businesses function and how to make effective decisions in a complex business environment.
