The Renegade Card is Bakersfield College’s official student identification card. Students
may use it to verify their identity when accessing college services, taking exams,
checking out Library materials, printing in computer labs, receiving discounted admission
to athletic events, and obtaining student discounts from participating businesses.
Every enrolled BC student has access to a Virtual Renegade Card through TouchNet,
a mobile application, and may also request a physical Renegade Card. Students should
have their virtual or physical card available while attending Bakersfield College.
Some services, such as Renegade Nexus Pantry, may still require a physical card.
Virtual BC Student ID Renegade Card
Every student can get a Virtual BC Student ID Renegade Card on their mobile devices.
This is a great way to ensure you have your BC ID card with you at all times and is
easily accessible.
You must be registered for at least one BC course before you can receive a Virtual
BC Student ID Renegade Card. Please note that there is a 1- to 2-business-day delay
between when you register for your courses and when you can access your virtual card.
Also, once you have dropped from your BC courses, you may not have access to your
Virtual BC Student ID Renegade Card.
Upload your photo to CloudCard for use on your virtual ID. If you are unable to upload your picture to CloudCard,
come to the Office of Student Life to have it taken. The same picture is used for
both your virtual and physical cards.
Open the downloaded TouchNet 360U Mobile App and search for Bakersfield College. Click
Bakersfield College when displayed on the screen. This will take you to the "Bakersfield
College student portal” and click "Continue".
Select the SSO Account Type and click "Log In." This will redirect you through your
InsideBC account. Click "OK." Sign in using your InsideBC sign-on credentials.
Read through the TouchNet End User Privacy Notice and click “agree” to continue. When
the BC Student Life home screen appears, you're done! Congrats, you now have access
to your very own Virtual BC Student ID Renegade Card.
Note: If you receive a Login Error message stating: "You have another device registered
to 360u. Please visit OneWeb to reset your device ID or contact your campus administrator
for assistance," then follow "Access OneCard via the Web."
Physical BC Student ID Renegade Card
Physical Renegade Cards are available through the Office of Student Life and designated
ID stations at the Panorama, BC Delano, BC Southwest, and BC Arvin campuses. Hours
and availability may vary by location.
To receive a physical Renegade Card:
Bring your BC student ID number and a valid photo ID.
Be prepared to have your photo taken.
Let the staff member know that you are requesting a Renegade Card.
Remove hats and glasses so your face is clearly visible in the photo.
Students who have paid the BCSGA Student Services Fee for the semester may receive their sticker at any time. Students who have not paid
the fee may receive their card according to the following schedule:
Summer: One week before classes begin
Fall: Two weeks before classes begin
Spring: One week before classes begin
Lost physical cards may be replaced for a $5 cash-only fee. Students can pay the replacement
fee in person at Business Services in the Welcome Center.

Employee Name Badges
Employees may receive a vertical name badge for identification only while working
on campus. Please consult with your supervisor if your work area allows you to use
this as your on-the-job name tag. The Name Badges are different than your key card
access badges issued by Maintenance and Operations.
Each employee must be either a full-time or part-time employee at Bakersfield College.
New employees, please note that there is a 7 to 10-business-day delay between when
you are onboard and when you can receive your card.

If your card is lost or stolen
Students who have a Physical BC Student ID Renegade Card are solely responsible for
immediately reporting the loss or theft of their card and deactivating it. The most
effective way to deactivate the card is to do so online by logging in to the BC OneWeb Student Account. This option is available 24 hours a day, every day of the week, both online at OneWeb
and via the 360u mobile app. If you do not have internet access when your card is
lost or stolen, you can report it in person during normal business hours at the Office
of Student Life on the first floor of Campus Center or by emailing renegadecard@bakersfieldcollege.edu.
To report your card stolen in the mobile app:
Open the 360u Mobile App
Click the 9-dot grid in the top right corner
Click "Deactivate Account"
Click "Continue" on the pop-up
To report your card stolen online:
Go to the BC OneWeb Student Account
Click the icon in the top right corner and click "Manage Campus ID"
