What is Articulation?

Course articulation is the process by which one college matches its courses to courses at another college. Students use course articulation to make sure that courses they take at one college will not have to be repeated when they transfer to another college.

An Articulation Agreement is an official agreement that specifies courses which are comparable to, or acceptable in lieu of, requirements at the transfer college or university. By completing an articulated course, Bakersfield College (BC) students may satisfy university admission, general education, lower-division major preparation and/or graduation requirements, prior to transfer.
