AB540 Information

The Bakersfield College AB540 Support Program provides a comprehensive program of services for students who are eligible under the AB540/ AB2000/SB 68- California Nonresident Tuition Exemption. The goal of the program is to help eligible students meet their educational objectives, whether they seek occupational certificates, associate degrees, or transfer to four-year institutions.

Print from any lab computer! Scan documents and then print them. The Launchpad support staff is ready to help you accomplish the task on hand.

Software

Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, Adobe Photoshop, and other software commonly used in an office environment are available in the computer lab

Never used the software? Not to worry! The support staff can guide you through the steps.

Wi-Fi

Work in a group or with your own laptop, the computer lab offers free Wi-Fi and team working tables.

  • Presentation Equipment - HDMI/VGA Adapters suitable for any Mac or PC for presentation purposes.

  • Laptop Chargers - Macbook and HP and Dell laptop
  • Headphones
  • Computer Mice

All equipment are for use for a few hours at a time and are not to be removed from the Launchpad.
