Bakersfield College has a variety of student clubs and organizations to benefit student's professional, personal, and academic growth. All students are encouraged to join or start a student org to enrich their experience at Bakersfield College and seed their growth in the Renegade Community!

How to Join (or Start!) a Student Organization

Want to start a new student organization? The process is easy! All you need to do is recruit 3 interested students, obtain an advisor, and file a Student Organization Registration form after reading about the Registration process. If you have questions about starting a new club, contact studentlife@bakersfieldcollege.edu.

Student Organization Hours

Student Life holds virtual office hours for students with questions about Student Organizations - no appointment necessary.

Student Organization advisors, current members, leaders and any student looking to get involved in BC Student Organizations are all welcome to stop by Mondays from 12:00 - 1:00 P.M. and Wednesdays from 12:00 P.M. - 1:30 P.M.
