Biography
About Kristin
Dr. Maytubby is a faculty member at Bakersfield College since 2022, where she teaches
Lifespan Development (Psyc B40), Introduction to Psychology (Psyc C1000), Human Sexuality
(Psyc B30), Statistics (Psyc B5) and Introduction to Psychological Disorders (Psyc
B26). With a professional focus on trauma, anxiety and the nervous system, Dr. Maytubby
is passionate about helping students understand how mind and body work together in
healing and growth. She is also developing a growing interest in Sports Psychology,
exploring how mental performance and resilience shape success both on and off the
field.
