Where is the Planetarium?

The William M Thomas Planetarium is at Bakersfield College on the northwest end of the second floor of the Math-Science building in Room 112. Use the elevator in the middle of the north side of the building or the stairs to get to the second floor.

The first map below shows the location of the Math-Science building on the east side of the Panorama Campus (1801 Panorama Drive, Bakersfield CA 93305) and north of Memorial Stadium. To drop people off at the Math-Science building, enter the campus from Red & White Way across from Valley Strong Credit Union. To park near the Math-Science building, enter the campus at the Christmas Tree Lane traffic light off of Mount Vernon Avenue. See the Campus Parking page.

The second map below shows the disabled access route to the elevator on the north side of the Math-Science building.

Go up the ramp on the east side of the Allied Health side of the Math-Science building, then go through the breezeway in the middle of the building to the elevator on the north side of the building. From the elevator on the second floor, turn right and go to Math-Science 112 near the west end of the building.
