Earning an Associate's Degree
At Bakersfield College (BC), student success is very important. We want our students
                     to have a high-quality education and earn associate’s degrees that qualify for transfer
                     to a four-year college or university. 
When our incarcerated students are enrolled for classes, they receive a packet that contains degrees and certificates offered at each of the correctional facilities served by BC. Currently offered Associates Degrees for Transfer (ADTs) are as follows:
- Administration of Justice Arts Degree for Transfer
 - Art History Arts Degree for Transfer
 - Communication Certificate of Achievement
 - Communication studies Arts Degree for Transfer
 - English Arts Degree for Transfer
 - History Arts Degree for Transfer
 - Psychology Arts Degree for Transfer
 - Social Justice Arts Degree for Transfer
 - Sociology Arts Degree for Transfer
