Grade Computation

A minimum of a “C” grade must be maintained in each BC physical therapist assistant technological and required courses (75%, “C”) along with general education courses (70%, “C"). If an institution grades on the + & - system, NO "C-" will be accepted for any prerequisite courses (Equivalent to Anatomy & Physiology I & II B32 & B33). Any student who does no receive at least a 75% grade for any PTA Technical Course and a “Pass” grade of 75% for the lab will fail the course and not be able to continue in the program.

The percentage value of the alphabetical grading in all physical therapist assistant courses will be assigned as above. A grade of “D” or lower assigned at the close of any physical therapist assistant course will prevent progress within the Physical Therapist Assistant Program.
