Biography
About Mindy
Mindy Wilmot is a reference librarian at Bakersfield College’s Arvin Educational Center and BCSouthwest. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in English from CSUB and a master’s degree in Library and Information Science from San Jose State University. She is a Kern County native (born in Taft, raised in Arvin), and former high school English teacher and librarian. She has a passion for deep diving into research queries and showing students how to use sources responsibly. When not at work, she enjoys reading, puzzles (of both the jigsaw and crossword variety), and lifelong learning.
