About Bridget

Bridget holds an associate’s degree in general education, as well as both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in health information management from Stephens College. She also holds the Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) and Certified Health Data Analyst (CHDA) credentials through the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA).

With over 25 years of experience in the health information industry, Bridget has played key roles in a wide range of healthcare settings. Notably, she contributed to the successful opening of two brand-new hospitals—one in Bakersfield, CA, and another in Madera, CA. Her extensive background in health information management and healthcare operations fuels her passion for educating future professionals. As Program Director of the Health Information Technology Program at Bakersfield College, she is dedicated to preparing students for meaningful careers and advancing the profession through education and leadership.
