Archives Faculty Director

Biography

I attended Bakersfield College from 2008-2010, when I graduated with two AAs- in history and anthropology. During my time on the BC campus, I also served as a senator and then activities liaison for the Student Government Association which increased my passion for Bakersfield College, its mission and its rich history of serving our community. I then received my BA in history from University of California, Davis, and ultimately my master's in library and information science (MLIS) from San Jose State University in 2015. I served on the Bakersfield College Alumni Association for a few years after returning to Bakersfield, and officially started my journey back at BC as an adjunct librarian in Spring of 2022. I am absolutely thrilled to now serve as the Archives Faculty Director and would love for you to reach out with your favorite Renegade stories!
