City of Bakersfield Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Technical Assistance and Grant Program 2.0

Bakersfield College Launchpad was proud to partner with the City of Bakersfield to deliver the Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Technical Assistance and Grant Program 2.0, which operated from February 3, 2025, through September 30, 2026.

Program Outcomes

Throughout the program, entrepreneurs benefited from grant funding, business coaching, educational workshops, networking opportunities, and connections to community resources.

As this grant concludes, Bakersfield College Launchpad extends its sincere gratitude to the City of Bakersfield for its investment in local entrepreneurs and small businesses. We are also deeply thankful to our small business coaches, community partners, and collaborating organizations whose expertise, encouragement, and commitment helped entrepreneurs access the resources they needed to succeed.

Most importantly, we thank the entrepreneurs who participated in the program. Your determination, creativity, and resilience continue to strengthen Bakersfield's economy and demonstrate the impact that small businesses have on our community every day.

We also recognize Bakersfield College and the Kern Community College District for their continued support of entrepreneurship, workforce development, and economic growth initiatives that make programs like this possible.

Bakersfield College Launchpad remains committed to supporting entrepreneurs through no-cost business advising, networking events, webinars, workshops, and entrepreneurial education opportunities.
