Student Leadership and Involvement Awards
The Student Leadership and Involvement Awards Ceremony, coordinated by the Office of Student Life, is intended to recognize the accomplishments of Student Organizations and student leaders at Bakersfield College. This event, which is the annual student leadership recognition awards ceremony at the College, is a chance for all registered Student Organizations and student leadership to present their achievements to the rest of the College community and be recognized for their accomplishments. It is an opportunity for them to show the wide variety of activities they are involved in and demonstrate their ingenuity and creative talent.

Good Samaritan Award
The Good Samaritan Award is given to a student who has gone above and beyond the call of duty for the public safety and community welfare for the campus at large. A student who has shown their assistance with the apprehension of a criminal act and assisted with a critical incident that reflects a positive outcome for the safety of the campus. The recipient of this award receives a Bakersfield College class ring.
