Bakersfield College Student Housing
To support its academic mission and the student community, Bakersfield College has
constructed affordable and sustainable student housing on the Bakersfield College
campus. The project accommodates over 130 full-time students and offers a living-learning
environment that supports student development and success.
Bakersfield College Student Housing Office is on its way!
The housing office will be located on the main floor of the residence hall. Until construction is complete, you can reach out to the temporary location of the housing team located in the Office of Student Life. You can also reach out via phone call, email, or through our website for any information you may need.

$35 application fee, payable upon completion of the application
Applications are being approved and added to the waitlist for the Spring 2027 semester. Room assignments for the fall semester will begin in January 2027. Applications are approved and added to the waitlist starting March 2026; however, approval does not mean automatic assignment. Before receiving a housing assignment, students must ensure they are registered for Fall 2026 classes and have sufficient resources to cover the costs.

Student Housing Priority Policy
On-campus housing at Bakersfield College is limited and in high demand. Accommodation will be offered on a priority basis, and then on a first-come, first-served basis. The Student Housing Office highly recommends that students submit their housing application as soon as possible to increase their chances of obtaining a space.
