Manufacturing Technologies

Students gain hands-on experience through lab work and a spectrum of tools utilized in the manufacturing industry, including manual machining, computer-controlled machining (CNC), welding, computer aided design, and mathematics. Students learn precision measuring techniques with the use of traditional machine tools such as drilling machines, saws, lathes and milling machines. CNC instruction covers the principles of set-up, operation, and programming of computer numerical control lathes and milling machines.

Students can earn certificates and degrees that prepare them for a successful career in manufacturing.

It involves a series of steps that may include designing, planning, engineering, assembling, testing, and packaging.
