BC To Host First Ever Winter Night Market

On Thursday, November 5, Bakersfield College will be hosting its first ever Winter Night Market. The community event will take place on the Panorama campus and will feature 35 local food and retail vendors, pop-up stores, and BC program booths. This evening promises to be an entertaining and memorable evening for the whole family.

PJ Delgaudio, College and Community Event Manager at BC, was the coordinator of the Winter Night Market and is excited to host the event. “The whole goal of the market is really to bring our community here,” she said, “we are seeing similar events happening downtown and in other places, but we don’t have a lot here on the east side.” She continued, “We will have a variety of food vendors, some BC clubs and programs, like the BC Garden Club and BC Robotics Club, and there will even be a golf simulator. It’s a great opportunity to bring together our students and campus community while highlighting local businesses.”

The food vendors include Crumbl Cookies, Sip ‘N Twist, Strawberry Dream Factory, Heatwave Shaved Ice & Treats, and many more. The retail vendors include Aihtnycity Collection, AT&T, SimplySoap, Ramirez Jewelry, and several more.

Join us this Thursday at 5:00PM in the FACE Courtyard to experience BC’s Winter Night Market. Admission to the event is free!
