The Bakersfield College Archives was delighted to be part of the 2026 Homecoming Football Game as we celebrated a truly historic milestone in Renegade history!

This year marks the 100th season of Bakersfield College football, making this Homecoming celebration especially meaningful. For a century, Renegade football has brought generations of students, athletes, alumni, and community members together, creating unforgettable memories and a tradition of excellence that continues today.

Adding to this historic occasion, we also celebrated the 50th anniversary of the legendary 1976 Renegade football team, honoring the players and their lasting contributions to Bakersfield College's rich athletic history.

The BC Archives was proud to help celebrate these incredible milestones and reflect on the traditions, and achievements that have shaped Renegade football over the past 100 seasons.
