BC Homecoming 2025!

Bakersfield College is hosting a series of events this week to celebrate Homecoming 2025. There will be a variety of exciting and fun-filled activities everyday, all leading up to the Homecoming football game and Alumni BBQ on Saturday, October 11th. This year’s theme is Atlantis: Dive Into Homecoming, celebrating school spirit with an underwater twist.
The events start on the CSS Lawn on Monday with Conquer the Gauntlet – a large, inflatable obstacle course that allows participants to compete against each other for victory and bragging rights. Students can dress up as a legendary hero, mythical explorer, or sea-inspired character for the event. On Tuesday, a Paint & Craft event will take place in the Fireside Room, where participants can design their own seascape paintings. Paint supplies and snacks will be provided.
The activities continue Wednesday night with Atlantis After Dark – Movie Night. Take a break from your busy schedule and enjoy a movie with your fellow Renegades in Fine Arts Room 30. Popcorn and snacks will be available! Thursday will be the annual homecoming Karaoke Night. Bring your friends to Campus Center 232 and be ready to sing into the night. Next is the Atlantis Gala Homecoming Dance on Friday night in the Renegade Event Center. Participants can dance the night away while wearing their best Atlantis-inspired outfits.
The week of events concludes on Saturday, October 11th, with the Alumni BBQ, Homecoming Parade, and Homecoming football game – all starting at the Renegade Crossroads. There are still tickets available for the BBQ, which will feature tri-tip, chicken, hot dogs, and a variety of beverages. The event also includes musical performances, family activities, vendors, and more! The football game will be FREE for all attendees! Join us in Memorial Stadium as we cheer on our Renegades as they take on Cerritos College.
