The Renegade Football team will kick off the 2025 season with its first home game this Saturday, September 6th at Memorial Stadium. They will face the Bulldogs from Allan Hancock College in Santa Maria. This year’s home opener is extra special as it marks the 70th anniversary of Memorial Stadium!

In honor of the momentous occasion, admission to the game will be FREE for all fans! The original start time for the game was 4:00PM, but has been changed to 6:00PM to account for the warmer temperatures expected that night. The evening will also feature BC’s annual First Responders Night, which will recognize and honor the dedication of local heroes who serve our community every day. BC Athletics will also pay tribute to past generations of Renegade football players who have competed at Memorial Stadium over the last seventy years. All former BC football players are invited to attend and be recognized.

The Renegade football season officially kicked off last weekend as the team traveled south to compete against Santa Ana College in Orange County. Despite being on the road, our Renegades came out victorious 28-14, with new Head Coach Tyler Thompson earning his first victory since taking the position earlier this year.

This will no doubt be another exciting year of Renegade Football! We hope to see you this Saturday to kick-off the new season.
