New Bakersfield College students are invited to attend this year’s New Student Convocation. This unique event allows new students to learn more about the Renegade community, learn about valuable campus resources, meet support staff, and enjoy some free food. The event is free and all new BC students and their families are welcome to attend!

New Student Convocation will take place on Tuesday, August 19, at the Panorama Campus Outdoor Theater. Check-in starts at 4:30PM, and the New Student Welcome Ceremony starts at 5:13PM.

This annual event promises to be an unforgettable evening filled with fun, camaraderie, free food, and valuable information. We hope you can join us! We are BC!

  • Financial Aid Workshop, Campus Resource Fair & Dinner: 6:30PM
  • Renegade Mascot Ceremony: 7:13PM
  • Parking and dinner are free (while supplies last). Recommended Parking: P3 (Solar Lot) at Panorama & Mt. Vernon
