BC Participates in 2025 Bakersfield Christmas Parade

Bakersfield College was a proud participant in the 43rd Annual Bakersfield Christmas Parade. This year’s theme was “A Family Christmas” and took place in historic downtown Bakersfield.

BC was well represented with a festive float, the BC Marching Band, BC cheerleaders, the BC mascot, and several BC students, faculty and staff spreading holiday cheer to all the attendees and bystanders. Other participants in the parade included the Bakersfield Fire Department, Adventist Health, Kaiser Permanente, a variety of local high school marching bands, and more.

Hundreds of Kern County residents lined the streets of downtown Bakersfield for the holiday parade, and all attendees had a wonderful time watching the various floats, marching bands, and more. The parade concluded with brightly lit float featuring Santa Claus himself. Accompanied by Mrs. Claus, it was an appropriate finale for the celebratory evening.
