Proctored Exams

The Testing and Placement Center offers proctoring services for exams for other colleges and apprenticeship program exams. The proctor fee for each of these exams is $15 per hour paid to Bakersfield College. Acceptable payments are exact cash, check, or a money order. If your exam must be mailed, please bring a Self Addressed Stamped Envelope (SASE) with required postage on the day of your exam. If you do not provide the required SASE, you will be charged with an additional fee for shipping.

For detailed information about scheduling a proctored test contact the Testing and Placement Center at

Proctoring Network

Bakersfield College has joined the Proctoring Network created by the Online Education Initiative. This allows BC students taking online classes to have exams proctored at member California Community Colleges if those happen to be closer to their homes. Member colleges can be found at the CCC Online Proctoring Network.

Students from other member colleges can use our assessment center as well. Students should follow the policies listed on this page to schedule their exams. BC students and Member Community College students will not be charged for this service. Be prepared to schedule your exams at least two weeks in advance to allow for fluctuating schedules.
