The Bakersfield College campuses are closed, but our staff are still available for you! We are working remotely during regular office hours. If you need assistance with general questions, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. For efficient service, please remember to include your BC ID number, if you have one.
Prefer face-to-face? We have a Virtual Lobby! Visit us Monday - Thursday, 7:30 am-5:00 pm by using the Zoom link below to speak with a student employee "in-person".
Bakersfield College is committed to supporting our undocumented, mixed status, and nonresident students. The AB540/ Undocumented Students Program welcomes undocumented students and nonresident students.
Our goal is to develop student leadership amongst our undocumented student population and provide support to secure academic success. By increasing outreach, digital resources, and expanding support to students and their families, BC hopes to empower and engage students and community members to advance the educational access and attainment for undocumented students throughout Kern County.
Assembly Bill No. 540 states that “Student information obtained in the implementation of this section is confidential.” The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) is a Federal law that protects the privacy of student education records. More information about FERPA can be found here
