Economics

The major in Economics is designed for students interested in preparing for advanced degrees in Economics, Business, or Law, and for those students concerned with the behavior of consumers, business, and governments.

History

The major in History is designed for students interested in gaining an understanding of our political, economic, and social past. The major is an important part of the liberal arts program and can serve as preparation for graduate study in education, law, business, government, or journalism.

Many employers value the writing and thinking skills acquired by History majors. The knowledge gained in history is fundamental for an understanding of many of the other fields of learning.

Political Science

The major in Political Science are designed for students interested in gaining and understanding of the structure and functions of governments. The majors are an important part of the liberal arts program and prepare students for future study and careers in journalism, education, law, business, government, and international relations.
