In response to COVID-19, services for the Renegade Room have been modified to address industry guidelines and protocols. It's in the best interest of our students', staff's and guests' health that we suspend dine-in services at this time. Our focus now is to promote comprehensive practices while providing our customers and community nutritious goods. Our students are currently exercising production and packaging for take-out distribution. This provides real-time experience activities, preparing them for our current service industry accommodations. We will keep our information updated as necessary. Your continued support of our student culinarians during this time is greatly appreciated.
The Renegade Room Restaurant is a public restaurant operated by the students enrolled in the Foods and Nutrition Program. The program incorporates lessons in nutrition, cost control, supervision and management, baking, food production, dining room services and food service safety and sanitation.
These skill sets are then applied to hands-on training experiences in both the Kitchen and Dining Room Lab stations. Students are given production menus and schedules to prepare fresh meals, while others see to the Customer Service end of business waiting tables in the Renegade Room upon reopening.
Call-ahead orders are required as service is based on availability.
We are not accepting Walk-ins at this time.
We accept cash and personal check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.
