The Renegade Pulse (the Pulse) is one of the ways Renegades can advertise their events, programs, services, and announcements. The Pulse is brought to you by the Bakersfield College Student Government Association and the Office of Student Life.

The Pulse is a newsletter that is aimed to inform the Renegade community of events that happen on a weekly basis. All events submitted are subject to the Office of Student Life staff discretion. Events submitted should be student-focused and hosted by a Bakersfield College registered student organization or college office/department. Submissions must be submitted via the intake form by the Thursday prior to the week of the event. Due to copyright laws, in order for a movie viewing to be advertised in the Pulse, you must purchase the rights to show the movie. If you have questions about purchasing movie rights please email the Office of Student Life.

Submission Information:

• All submissions are due the Thursday before the week of the event.
• The Pulse is published every Friday.
• Late submissions are not guaranteed to appear in the Pulse.
