The California State University General Education Breadth Certificate of Achievement is designed for students planning to transfer to a California State University (CSU) campus. Completion of this certificate ensures that the student has met the lower division General Education requirements for all CSU campuses.
Program Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion, the student will:
Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills.
Apply new and accepted ideas about the natural universe using testable methodology.
Explain the values of a culture as expressed through art, literature, language and philosophical viewpoints.
Evaluate the methods of inquiry and evidence used in the behavioral and social sciences.
Integrate knowledge and skills related to personal fulfillment to foster continuous self-development.
To Achieve the Certificate of Achievement
Upon completion of the following courses with at least a ‘C’ grade in each course, the student will be awarded an California State University General Education Breadth Certificate of Achievement.
