2019 Energy and Ag Academy - Application Deadline April 5

Chevron and the Kern County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce are seeking eligible high school juniors and seniors, as well as students enrolled at Bakersfield College, Taft College, CSU Bakersfield and Fresno State University who are interested in energy and agriculture careers. The five-session academy hosted at Bakersfield College, introduces students to local professionals, careers, and other features from these industries.

The academy includes speakers in the energy industries, financial scholarships, field trips to local energy and ag facilities, leadership opportunities, student ambassadors for Kern County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, volunteer opportunities in the community and meeting with elected officials.

Completed applications and all required forms for the 2019 Energy and Ag Academy are due to Yvonne Armendariz no later than 5 p.m. on April 5, 2019. Download and complete the attached application and mail it to the address below:
