Health Study Oct. 8-12 Women age 18-25

Researchers at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) School of Medicine are conducting a study about the health of women attending community colleges. UCSF hopes to gather information to improve health education materials for young adults.

UCSF, with the assistance of BC students, will be recruiting participants on campus the week of October 8th! Look for recruiters in the teal shirts in front of the Student Health & Wellness Center (CC-3)!

Interested in participating?

Study eligibility requirements include:

  • Women, ages 18–25
  • Currently enrolled at Bakersfield College and in your first year of college

Students who choose to participate will:

  • Meet with a UCSF researcher on campus to view educational materials and complete online surveys
  • Receive up to $170 in gift cards

The information you share will be kept confidential. Participation is completely voluntary.
