Collaboration between the Kern High School District (Bakersfield Adult School) and Bakersfield College has birthed a prime location, serving an untapped area in our community. By leveraging the Adult Education funds, this partnership has brought education and training programs to our underserved adult population in South Kern.
Expanded services through the newly launched Job Spot include a One-Stop, staffed by both KHSD and BC. The BC Advocate Team includes an Academic Liaison, Educational Advisor, and Program Manager.
Additionally, the Job Spot featuring the Bakersfield College One-Stop serves as a resource hub by providing an innovative and creative space for student success.
