What is AAMP?

AAMP is a mentor program designed to provide students with an invaluable opportunity for personal and professional development through the support of mentors and monthly AAMP meetings. AAMP members will benefit from additional guidance and support to help:

  • Support student’s academic goals
  • Assist with career planning
  • Enhance student’s skills and knowledge
  • Build self-confidence
  • Establish a communication network
  • Explore student’s career interests

Why join AAMP?

AAMP group meetings is an open environment that provide students the opportunity to engage in conversations with their peers about the educational experience at Bakersfield College. AAMP group meetings introduce members to resources on campus and builds connections with a supportive and inclusive community.

How to join AAMP?

Lunch will be provided for those who attend the meeting.
