QUALITY, IS JOB ONE: ACADEMIC INTEGRITY, STUDENT CONDUCT, AND STARFISH

Quality, is job one” (branded by Ford Motor Company): Each professor has a different tolerance for the variety of behaviors encountered in the classroom however, the right technique, applied to the right situation, with experience and skill is ideal.  We will define behaviors and review:

  1. How to work with these students effectively,
  2. How to understand the individual motivations that may cause behaviors, and
  3. How to refer these students for help on campus.

Through reviewing referral processes, we will discuss Early Alert as well as the Students of Concern Team.  Lastly, we recognize the need to address academic integrity and how incorporating behaviors in syllabi can ensure a safer and positive learning environment. Join us for this riveting session, you will not be disappointed! This session will not provide an in-depth Early Alert training, please see other sessions for that
