Energizing Humanities: NEH Grant Faculty Cohort Recruitment Info Session

This workshop will provide information about "Energizing Humanities in California's San Joaquin Valley," a grant funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities at Bakersfield College.  Information will be provided regarding previous faculty cohorts, grant year work expectations, financial compensation, as well as preliminary grant results.  An overview of public humanities programming for AY 2019-2020 will be provided, as well as preliminary details about a culminating conference in the spring 2020 semester.  The grant directors and previous faculty cohort members will provide information to prospective faculty fellows as to the NEH program and grant impact on humanities pedagogy and approaches to curriculum. If you are unable to attend and have questions about the grant and applying to it, feel free to e-mail Oliver Rosales, Andrew Bond, or Josh Ottum.
