The Community College Research Center (CCRC) in Columbia recently published a book on Guided Pathways that brings together what California’s legislation is attempting to do with the new SSSP funding, the Equity funding and the focus on ADTs for transfer to CSUs. The three authors (Bailey, Jaggars, and Jenkins) paint a picture of what a community college can accomplish if these three initiatives were merged into one in a mega redesign of the college.

The SSSP office, located in A 17, has purchased 10 books that can be checked out for a few days. Contact Lesley Bonds, Manager of SSSP for more information.

We will be having book discussions in 6 different sessions, each 45 minutes long, covering one chapter. Even if you do not get time to read the chapter ahead of time, please stop by for these discussions, each of which are led by four panelists.
