Dual Enrollment Application

Step 1: Apply to BC

Click "Apply Now" if you are new to Bakersfield College. Click "Update Now" if you already have a BC ID number and BC email. The update form must be completed each semester.

Step 2: Submit the Dual Enrollment Form to the Early College Department

Dual Enrollment Form

Complete this form and email the form to the person or email account designated by your dual enrollment instructor. Please leave the High School Official Permission section blank, as it will be completed after you submit your form. If you do not know your Course Information, please ask you instructor. You may list all of your courses for the term on one form.

Attention Kern High School District students: Please email your completed forms to earlycollege@kernhigh.org.

 

Step 3: Verify Enrollment

Please allow 2-3 weeks from the day you submit your form for the course to appear on your BC Class Schedule. You can check your Class Schedule logging into your InsideBC account and viewing your Class Schedule under MyBanWeb. If you do not see the course on your schedule after 2-3 weeks, please let your instructor know right away. Students must be enrolled before the end of the term in order to receive college credit for the course.

Dropping Dual Enrollment Classes

If you wish to drop your Dual Enrollment class, please notify your instructor right away. Do NOT drop yourself from the course.
