Biography

Zack Clark has a Bachelors Degree in Music with an emphasis on Music Education from California State University Bakersfield and is presently pursuing his Master’s in Music Education from San Jose State University. He has taught students privately since 2009 and taught formally at Rosedale Music for 2 years, Stockade Christian School for 3 years, and has been the Music Director of Bakersfield Christian High School for the last 3 years where he continues to teach and direct. He has led each performance group under his direction to regularly achieve the highest possible ratings in both local and regional festivals from prestigious judging panels. As a student, he spent 4 years as a member of the California Allstate Honor Band (1 year as a First Chair in the Top Band) and 3 years as the Principle French Horn player for the Bakersfield Youth Symphony. As a professional, he has performed with the Bakersfield Symphony Orchestra, the Tehachapi Symphony Orchestra, and the Bakersfield Winds. Zack continues to actively perform with a variety of professional groups within the Bakersfield community.
