Welcome Renegades! The majority of our classes are online for Spring 2021. A few essential courses are face-to-face with safety protocols. All services have moved online and physical campuses are closed. Visit the COVID-19 page for up-to-date information.
If you do not identify any COVID-related symptoms, you will receive a green Health Pass. A green Health Pass allows you to engage in person on campus (attend classes in person, utilize labs, etc.).
If you identify any COVID-related symptoms on the app, you will receive a red Health Pass. If you are experiencing symptoms you will need to test for COVID-19 and return to in-person engagement once you have completed your required quarantine period. Notify your professor if you are unable to come to campus.
Upon arrival to campus property
Parking is only allowed in Parking Lot P3 or P6 or in designated spaces at Weill Institute
Student must wear a cloth mask at all times, including in public spaces like parking lots and walkways.
Do not remove mask until off campus or in your car.
Do not congregate in halls or common spaces before or after classes
Maintain at least 6 feet of distance from others while on campus, including in the classroom
Refrain from touching mask and/or face
Wash hands before removing face covering
Upon arrival to the classroom
Scan the QR code at the entrance of the building, office of classroom with the Kern Community College District Campus Pass app.
Wash hands at Hand Sanitization station for a minimum of 20 seconds
Maintain 6 feet distance while waiting in line to wash hands or enter classroom
While in the classroom
Wash hands before entering and exiting class, and frequently throughout class as requested
Wear masks at all times and maintain social distancing as possible
If using specialized equipment, must wash hands before and after use
Participate in the cleaning of the classroom environment at the end of the class
After completion of class session
Wash hands before exiting classroom
Immediately leave campus at the end of class session
Do not linger on campus
Do not remove face mask until you have reached your car
