Jacqueline E. Gullam Memorial Early Childhood Education Scholarship

Jackie Gullam was Chair of the Family and Consumer Education Department, and Child Development Faculty. This memorial fund was started by her husband.

  • Must must have Child Development class credits
  • Preference for academic excellence, 3.5 cum GPA or higher

Wendy Theresa Simon Memorial Scholarship

Wendy Simon was a volunteer for the United Farmworker Union's Delano Child Care Center in 1975. She died from malignant melanoma at age 24. The children, her family and friends created this memorial in 1979.

Mary Ann was Director of the Bakersfield College Child Care Centers and Child Development faculty. This memorial was created by her sister, Hazel Abbott.
