Chicano/Latino Pre-Commencement Event

Location: Bakersfield College Outdoor Theater

RSVP Due: April 29, 2022

This is the 26th Chicano/Latino Pre-Commencement Celebration and the purpose of this annual tradition is to encourage Chicano/Latino students to participate in celebrations that provides a cultural, bilingual and celebratory atmosphere for family and friends as they honor the achievements of their graduates and transfer students. The celebration gives our students an opportunity to acknowledge those who have been supportive of their educational endeavors. Finally, the celebration serves as an example for the younger generation and community that they, too, can achieve a college education.

Participating students will receive a Stole to wear for the Bakersfield College Graduation.

Once you complete the application form, you will receive an email link to pay online. You and 6 additional guests will be able attend.
