The Student Health Center is located in the concourse of the Student Services Building. Students are entitled to the services of the Health Center provided by a full-time registered nurse and a physician available part-time. There is student insurance coverage for campus-related injuries.
The goal of the Health Center is to help students maintain a state of optimum health, both mental and physical. This is achieved by emergency first aid treatment, counseling, physical consultation, and general medical and physical attention.
In addition, health literature and pamphlets are available on a wide variety of health topics.
If you have concerns, visit the Student Health center. Referrals to community medical services at the student’s expense are available for health services not provided on campus.
The student health fee covers consultations with all heath center staff. The mandatory student health fee does not include medical insurance coverage. Students who are covered by their parent’s medical policy should know the insurance carrier.
In the event of a college-related injury, it is the student’s responsibility to report any incident to the Student Health Center immediately.
Call the Student Health Center at 395-4336.
If the Student Health Center staff is NOT available, contact the BC Public Safety Department’s office at 395-4554.
