Kirk Russell has been with the Bakersfield College Library since 1995 and has worked as a
librarian since 1989. He serves as technical services librarian with responsibility
for acquisitions, cataloging and systems administration. A Bakersfield native, he holds a
bachelor's degree in Spanish and a master's degree in library and information science,
both from Brigham Young University.
