With the next semester fast approaching Bakersfield College is seeking qualified individuals to enter the classroom as adjunct instructors. Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics
Minimum qualifications: Master's Degree in the discipline (equivalency available)

Minimum qualifications: Associate Degree in discipline; Registered Nurse designation, two years recent patient care experience

Formal Application Procedure

Thank you for your interest in serving as an adjunct faculty member at Bakersfield College. In order to consider you as a candidate for potential adjunct positions please complete the following steps:

1. Review the faculty contract for minimum qualifications required for an instructional assignment in your area of expertise. If you don't meet the minimum qualifications, but believe that you have related experience and/or education, you can petition for equivalency. Just submit the appropriate equivalency documentation along with the other required information.
2. Complete a Kern Community College District application stating your interest in serving as an adjunct instructor.
3. Send your:
   
   • Completed application;
   • Resume;
   • A copy of your Transcripts;
   • and Application for Equivalence (if needed)
