| The Bakersfield College women's soccer team has qualified for the
Southern California playoffs for the third straight season and will travel
to San Bernardino Valley College Saturday for a 2 p.m. match. BC (11-7-2 overall, third-place 9-3-2 in Western State Conference South) is seeded No. 14. San Bernardino Valley (17-0-4) is No. 3. Sixteen teams make the playoffs |

Soelberg had a goal and Aly Rosales had the assist but No. 14 Bakersfield
College lost 3-1 to No. 3 San Bernardino Valley in the first round of the
Southern California playoffs Saturday. The Renegades (11-8-2) took a 0-0 tie into the half but were unable to hold off San Bernardino in the second half. |
