Study of human services organizations. Work internship under supervision in a human services field. Emphasizes integrating theory with practical application. Participation criteria may vary among the participating human services agencies. Signature of the instructor or the Program Director is required to register for this class. Recommended: Reading Level 5 or 6, English Level 5. Hours: (72-252) 1-2 hours seminar and 3-12 hours field work per week. Repeat: 3 or until a maximum of 8 units is reached. Offered: F, S, SS. CCS: Occupational Education. Transferable: CSU and private colleges. Note: Students cannot exceed 8 units in combination with SOCI B5.
