Provides the student with leadership skills specific to wildland firefighting. Meets National Wildfire Coordinating Group curriculum criteria. Prepares students for employment with wildland fire management agencies and municipal fire departments. Includes classroom and field exercises. Hours: 8 lect, 8 lab. CCS: Occupational Education. Transferable: CSU and private colleges. Note: Elective credit only.
