Principles of Fluoroscopy - 2
Principles and techniques of fluoroscopy equipment, image intensifiers, television, image recording, devices and mobile fluoroscopy. Anatomy and physiology of the eye, three dimensional and radiologic anatomy. Fluoroscopy regulations, radiation safety and quality control. Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be eligible to apply for the State of California Fluoroscopy permit. Prerequisite: Hold or be eligible as a Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) in Diagnostic or Therapeutic Radiology within the State of California. Hours: (63) 5 lect, 2 lab for 9 weeks. CCS: Occupational Education. Not Transferable: Associate Degree only.
