Instruction in the fundamental concepts of radiation protection with review of current California Health and Safety codes pertaining to radiologic technology. Biological effects on living systems, as well as radiation units, dose determinations, and personnel monitoring are included. Prerequisite: Current enrollment in Radiologic Technology Program.
